in pain and desolation in the Gaza Strip enters a beam of divine light.
allows me to enter a very interesting piece, which 'was written by a non-jew, on a visit to the Gaza Strip, with enough shiny considerations.
I, Paul, I add only that I went to Ashkelon and Beer-Sheva and to visit a kibbutz in 1986 with a group, with whom I made the rounds of all Israel, and the situation then was totally different: there was destruction and even lingered a semblance of peace.
conclude that the man in his blindness 'unconsciousness and enjoys regularly destroy what' that creates beautiful.
Pero 'too optimistic a view: as in World War II, amid the collapse there were people and groups with great willingness' resuscitation (see Father Kolbe, to name one of many examples of great humanity'), again there 'the presence of God's love, thanks to so many people of good heart and a great spirit of selflessness.
Following the very interesting article.
I was in Israel for three days, on the border with the Gaza Strip, on a mission as an observer on behalf of PDL and along with an esteemed colleague from the PD, the Hon. Gianni Vernetti.
I want to tell my feelings, my emotions and my state of mind for you to understand what you are trying to visit the places where right now the eyes of the world are.
War, as you know, for the moment is over. Israel has unilaterally offered a ceasefire and withdrew from the Palestinian territories after the military dealt a harsh lesson to Hamas. A lesson that terrorists will remember for a long time, but will hardly change their attitude so much so that when the truce began, they shot in the legs, gouged out his eyes, tortured and killed because many moderate Palestinians to seek peace with guilty Israele.
Friday, February 6, 2009
Pain In Side Of Stomach When Coughing
And who is surprised by this news, try to imagine the hard way what it means to be years and years with the sirens sounding, and thousands of rockets that will explode a few steps away from you destroying homes and loved ones. Yet how much love I hit the people Israel! On the streets people will smile, has not lost his optimism, or hope for a better future.
In the seaside town of Beer-Sheva Soroka hospital I visited, one of the most beautiful and efficient I have ever seen in my life I have seen hundreds of Arabs (Palestinians and Bedouins) use the structure with a surprising naturalness. The professionalism and love that Israeli doctors and nurses gave them an example to many of our health professionals instead the word love have removed from their vocabulary. No feeling of solidarity more than genuine and generous I have seen in them. In another meeting we visited a Moshav (self-managed farm, ed) in the region of the Negev, in the desert and a few kilometers from Gaza. We operate 50 volunteers, all under the age of 25, working on a project called Ayalim and designed by themselves. The project aims to populate the desert, transforming it into fertile land and rich cities. At the same time the young people themselves who are the future ruling class, we are forging not only studying but also to cultivate in themselves a high sense of responsibility. Think about it! Exactly the pedagogical model opposite to the Italian, who for years but has stopped investing in weak areas of our country and who is raising a future generation that someone has already defined bamboccioni
close Thursday meeting with the Israeli President Shimon Peres, in the presence of Italian Luigi Mattiolo in Israel, former Israeli ambassador to Italy, the legendary Avi Pazner and representatives of the Italian Jewish community. I have the honor and privilege to speak on behalf of the PDL of the Chamber. In my short speech I remember that no one can give up the defense of the helpless, let alone the public authorities and the protection of their people and the weak find their raison d'etre, that although this may, in pain, costing the use of weapons. The self-defense, based on truth and justice in fact, is an inviolable and inalienable. I conclude my speech by thanking the President for what Israel is doing the freedom of the world without them today, international terrorism would invade the West.
President Shimon Perez replied with a speech so intense as moving: "Many in the world do not understand the reasons for Israel, but Israel does not understand why these many do not understand. What does Hamas? What do you propose? Fifteen thousand Israeli settlers - explains , - withdrew unilaterally from the Gaza Strip in 2005.'s decision to leave Gaza Israele. "We have waited - added Peres - eight years before they react." He concluded his speech by recalling the position of moderate Arab countries like Egypt, which has condemned Hamas recognizing Israel's motives sacrosanct.
of his words I understand the greatness of this people and its ability to withstand the rigors of even the most unheard.
On the way back I think about what I saw and I understand that the West must not give in, which must continue to defend their roots, their history, their identity and their freedom. I think that even if in Italy we are experiencing the difficulties are considerable, Israel is teaching us, day after day, that everything can be overcome if the great ideals are the reason for his life, whether individual, whether as a people.
..... And in the end I think that miracles to change the things you can do. It helps me in my thinking, that Ben Gurion was the founding father of Israel: "A people that does not believe in miracles is not a realistic people!"
